Giving Tree {Holidays}

We got the tallest Christmas Tree I've ever had this year. This weekend, we finally got around to decorating it. Doobie was pretty tuckered out by the time all of the ornaments were hung.

Now that fall is upon us in full force, it's time to get ready for the feast of Thanksgiving Day! My little owly friend is making his appearance in a different way this year. I usually display a full size banner above my desk, but decided that my door could use a little dressing up. So I made a mini banner for my door adorned with some great little dried corn, strung together with jute. Read on to learn how to make one, too!

The Latest Buzz {Collections}

When my favorite little girl was about to turn two, her mommy said to me, "We have to have a Buzz Buzz Party!" The theme would have to be girly and encompass all the cuteness of Farrah's beloved stuffed friend, Buzz Buzz.

Shh... It's A Surprise! {30th Birthday}

When Gina told me she wanted to throw her husband, Joe a surprise bash for his upcoming 30th birthday I knew we were in for some fun. The words "epic" and "ultimate" were used very often when she spoke of her hubby's secret event. All of the details needed to scream Joe and bring to life his awesome personality that everyone who knows and loves him is quite fond of.

Striped Whimsy {Baby Shower}

Cindy and Keith asked me to create a unique invitation for their upcoming co-ed baby shower.  They wanted something whimsical that included some elements of their crib bedding theme.

I had never heard of a "Peek-A-Boo" shower until Cindy mentioned it, and had fun hiding that element in the main invitation.  The couple also wanted to include a "Raffle Ticket" to let the guests know about something fun in store for them.

The invitations turned out great, printed on pearlescent cardstock that added that girly touch to it all. I had lots of fun creating these special details for Cindy and Keith, and cannot wait to meet their precious little girl!
